Regnant Football Academy secured a vital 1-0 victory over familiar foes Blessed Stars FA in the ongoing ‘RIGHT2WIN FOOTBALL ALL-STARS SERIES’ in Uyo!

Our boys hit the ground running, pressing high and dominating from the first whistle. The breakthrough came early in the 11th minute when Akaninyene Reuben finished a brilliant pass from captain Edidiong Michael, putting us ahead 1-0. 🙌

Moments later, Regnant FA started a counter-attack from the back with a beautiful one-touch passing display but were unlucky not to have finished up the counterattack with a second goal. Our giant striker Benjamin Warifah’s powerful attempt was blocked by the opposition’s defense.

As the game wore on, Regnant FA kept pushing for a second, with close efforts from Marshall and captain Edidiong. But it was our solid defense and goalkeeper UbokAbasi who shined, making a crucial save to preserve the lead. 💪
